Saffron is a professional YOUnicorn, Circus Artist and Director of Circus with Purpose. Since 2008 she has been teaching and performing movement arts internationally including Yoga, Aerial Arts, Handstands and Acrobatics, Flow & Fire Arts. In recovery from complex trauma, she spends much of her time translating her healing journey into circus art and developing choreography on interesting apparatus to tell the stories. Her current obsessions include "Aerial R'ilks" (Rope + Silks), Aerial Multi Hula Hooping and "Aerial Nervous System" in collaboration with Paper Doll Militia. She will be teaching many things through out the event but her main focus is sharing her passion for the creative process and directing all the magic over the month.

Sandi worked with Cirque du Soleil as Artistic Director for Mystère, ‘O’ and Zumanity and worked as Director of Creation for Cirque du Soleil’s foundation One Drop. Most recently, Sandi founded and co-directed IgniteNV, an outdoor theatrical event in the middle of the Mojave Desert, featuring Las Vegas' top talent in circus, dance, music and culinary arts. She has had the privilege of working closely with the directors as a creative collaborator for various productions such as the 3D movie World Away with James Cameron, One Night for One Drop featuring Hans Zimmer and many more! We are very honored to have her co-directing our annual show this year during week 3 & 4.

Melissa (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and EMDR therapist. She specializes in trauma therapy for all ages. Her approach integrates parts work, somatic experiencing, systemic, play therapy, and nervous system education.

Melissa, a survivor of developmental trauma and domestic violence, finds healing through movement and circus arts. After joining CircAsana’s Yoga Teacher Training with Saffron and Amy, her path led her to Circus with Purpose 2024.

She's also a Be Free Breathwork™ Facilitator, passionate about mindful-based practices and psychedelic-assisted therapy. As a member of the Queer community, Melissa is dedicated to social justice and equitable opportunities.

We’re so blessed to have her joining us all month as our trauma informed space holder facilitating restorative therapeutic group sessions and nervous system regulation sessions. 

Amanda began performing at 3 years old. At age 12 she studied with Joffrey Ballet School on scholarship, and from 2009-2015 performed with Cirque Du Soleil’s Zumanity and Michael Jackson’s ONE. She now runs Grounded Flight Aerial School in LA, where she supports her students to take aerial to the next level. We are honored to have her teaching advanced Lyra and silks during Week 1. 

Rafa is an incredible clown, acrobat and teacher with a heart of gold dedicating his life to supporting children through the magic of social circus. He runs the social circus school “Escuela Comedia Y Mimo” en Granada Nicaragua.

Ankar is an acrobat, flow and fire artist, clown, clothing designer clown and teacher at Escuela Comedia y Mimo. He is an absolute powerhouse with a gentle demeaner radiating deep heart centered love and care, especially when he is working with the children.

Lester is from Esteli, Nicaragua and is a professional clown, juggler, acrobat. He is also the director of El Nido Social Circus School and manages our Nicaragua Education Project where he organizes awesome playful learning activities for the children throughout the year. He will be coming in week 4 to present the work they are doing.

Noellia is a professional Hula Hoop Artist from Granada Nicaragua. She is also a teacher for Escuela Comedia Y Mimo and the Nicaragua Social Circus Network. She radiates joy in her teaching and performance art and it is an honor to have her teaching hula hooping and fire dance during the Month.

Jordan is a professional Flexible Serpant and director of Illuzia. She is a Lyra Artist, Fire Performer, Contortionist and Yoga Teacher and will be teaching Yoga, Handstansd, Contortion and developing the Contortion Troupe act over the month.

Alex is a professional Pole and Aerial Artist , Yoga Teacher and studio owner from Canada. She was competitive at a professional level for 3 years, and continues to train and find similar disciplines to explore in performance. She holds a certificate in Pole (PFIC), aerial hoop (PFIC), yoga (500hr), and personal training (NASM).

We are very excited to have her teaching Yoga, Handstands, Flying Pole and Lyra over the month and helping choreograph group acts over the month.

Katelyn /Kitkat is a professional aerialist, hula hooper, fire performer, choreographer and trained dancer from Southern California. She has traveled the country and the world performing in the circus arts since 2012 and runs a school in Santa Barbara called Elemental Aerial Arts. Her performance credits include Coachella, Lionsgates films, and performing for artists such as Sir Elton John. Kat also has a deep love for teaching and working one on one with individuals to expand their physical and artistic practice. She will be teaching Aerial Lyra, Silks, Hula Hooping and Fire Arts and helping choreograph aerial and flow troupes for the final show during the entire month!

Sharyn/Scarlett is a professional Aerialist, Pole Dancer, Fire dancer, Roller skater and Yoga Teacher based in California. We call her Momma Shary because of her incredibly warm and caring energy and incredible teaching abilities, but dont let that fool you her dynamic movement will make your jaw drop. We are so lucky to have her develop our Sling and Lyra/Flying Pole troupe during weeks 3&4.

Priscilla / Polescilla or as we like to call her “Silly” is professional pole artist, aerialist and fire dancer who tours with incredible artists like Diplo. Pole and aerial completely transformed not only her life, but who she is as a person in the most brilliant way and she has dedicated herself to sharing this gift with everyone and anyone who wants to embark upon this transformational journey. Silly will be helping choreograph the Flying Pole Troupe and Fire Troupe in weeks 3 & 4.

Lizzie Rose is a self trained photographer and videographer dedicated to celebrating the strength and individuality of performers. With an eye for vibrant colors and a talent for capturing movement, Lizzie creates images that not only showcase the beauty of her subjects but also empower them. Her approach to photography is deeply rooted in the belief that every person deserves to feel confident and powerful in their own skin. Through her lens, Lizzie brings out the unique energy and essence of her subjects, creating memorable visuals that resonate with authenticity and emotion. We are so lucky to have Lizzie facilitating our photoshoots, holding archetype embodiment workshops and capturing the magic during Weeks 1 & 2
